Job summary

MSD is seeking a hybrid Information Protection professional to join the IT Risk Management and Security team in Rahway, NJ. The role focuses on DLP policy design, tuning, and security tooling within Microsoft Purview and related platforms.

You will develop automation scripts (Python/PowerShell), maintain protection technologies, and drive incident response workflows. Collaboration with Legal, HR, and Global Security is essential for data loss prevention initiatives.

Qualifications

• Formal training in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in cyber security roles with incident response.
• Experience with DLP concepts and enterprise tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy DLP policies across network, endpoint, and cloud.
• Develop automation scripts to improve incident response and reporting.
• Maintain information protection tech stack for high availability and detection.
• Evaluate and improve processes to adapt to evolving security needs.
• Collaborate with Global Security, Legal, HR, and business units on data loss needs.
• Create and review security dashboards and metrics for data risk posture.
• Investigate and manage security incidents from DLP and other tools.
