Job summary

This position serves as Bureau of Monitoring and Quality Improvement Deputy Regional Supervisor for the Department of Juvenile Justice, assessing performance of services provided to youth in provider-operated programs and state-operated facilities across the North Region. The role involves supervising staff, conducting compliance reviews, coordinating monitoring activities, and providing technical assistance to ensure departmental programs meet standards. The position requires extensive travel with little notice and is located in Alachua, Jacksonville, Ocala, or St. Augustine, Florida.

Key qualifications:

• Knowledge of Department of Juvenile Justice policies, procedures, and continuum of care services
• Basic management principles and supervisory experience with ability to manage employees
• Systems analysis, data collection, and interpretation skills with ability to understand complex regulations
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Experience with computer technology including Word, Excel, PDF/Adobe, Tableau, and Access
• Preferred: bachelor's degree or four years professional experience plus two years supervisory experience
