DJJ Certified Medical Assistant - Marietta, GA | 40 hrs/week
Augusta University is Georgia's innovation center for education and healthcare, training the next generation of innovators, leaders, and healthcare providers.
Established in 2017, the Department of Juvenile Justice Health Services was created through a collaboration between Augusta University Health System and the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice. Its goal is to deliver high-quality health services to justice-involved youth across 25 facilities in Georgia.
(Located in Cobb County)
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
Base rate of $20.00 per hour
41 paid days off annually
As part of the facility's clinical team, this role involves performing both administrative and clinical tasks in a medical care environment. Supports physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, or other healthcare providers. Responsible for evaluating and preparing patients for provider assessments.
Educational Requirements: High school diploma with two years of experience and certification from one of the following:
Three or more years of clinical experience, including correctional settings. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
