E&H Ace Hardware in Ohio is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to join our team and help customers find the right hardware products for home improvement, repairs, and outdoor projects.

You will greet customers, offer personalized recommendations, and support store operations. The role emphasizes product knowledge, teamwork, and consistent sales support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience a plus but not required.
• Passion for DIY home improvement and hardware products highly valued.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and strong desire to help customers.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Build lasting customer relationships by offering personalized product recommendations.
• Proactively support customers on the sales floor to meet their needs.

• Support management and other associates in daily tasks.
• Maintain a positive and energetic attitude contributing to a friendly work atmosphere.
• Help achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Share ideas to improve sales, product placement, and store performance.
