Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, leveraging knowledge of automotive parts and store systems to drive sales and service. The role covers basic parts knowledge, sourcing from multiple channels, and maintaining inventory and store operations.

Flexibility for part-time or full-time work is required, with fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include assisting customers in-store and by phone, meeting personal sales goals, and delivering DIY

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installations and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Ensure store cleanliness and safe operations.
