Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive basics, and part knowledge, with ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.

Position can be part-time or full-time and includes responsibilities such as assisting customers in-store and by phone, performing DIY services like battery installs and wiper replacements, and maintaining

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Use basic math for transactions and stock operations.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers by visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Stock and deliver parts safely to customers when needed.
