Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a Salesperson to support the DIY business, provide outstanding customer service, and meet sales goals. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to operate store inventory and POS/parts lookup systems.

The position may be part-time or full-time, with driving and delivery coordination as part of duties, in a fast-paced retail environment. English proficiency and strong team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to use delivery board system.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately for all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
