Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, delivering friendly service and helping customers with parts and basic automotive knowledge. The role includes sourcing parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers, and operating store systems.

The position may be part-time or full-time with weekend availability and basic driving required. Prior retail sales experience and strong communication are helpful for success.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of sales experience in retail.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and support store targets.
• Handle DIY services like battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory processes.
