Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. This entry-level position requires basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with store systems, with the role able to be part-time or full-time.

The person will assist DIY customers in-store and by phone, perform services like battery installations and wiper replacements, and maintain inventory accuracy and store standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Basic math and familiarity with safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
