Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Mission, TX is recruiting a Salesperson to support the DIY business, provide strong customer service and drive in-store sales. This entry‑level role requires basic automotive knowledge, good communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

You will perform battery tests/installations, assist with parts lookup, stock shelves, and ensure safety and inventory standards while delivering parts to customers when needed.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety and maintenance instructions.
• Use basic math for transactions and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
