Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and hit sales/service goals. You will use store systems, apply basic automotive knowledge, and assist with sourcing from multiple channels.

The role supports inventory maintenance and order fulfillment in a fast-paced retail setting. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of retail sales experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build relationships.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, catalogs; use math for transactions.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet its goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
