Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. You should have basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

You will also handle inventory processes, maintain standards, and assist customers with DIY services such as battery and wiper installations. The role is flexible for part-time or full-time hours, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, delivering superior customer experiences.
• Basic reading/interpretation of safety rules and operating manuals.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers via in-store visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and support store sales targets.
• Support DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installation.
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Ensure store cleanliness and proper stocking of products.
