Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and strong customer communication.

You will handle DIY services, source parts from stores and suppliers, manage inventory, and assist with delivering parts. This position can be part time or full time and includes weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to use inventory and store systems.
• Basic math skills for transactions.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
