Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and drive sales. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, performing basic DIY services, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

The role may be part-time or full-time and requires basic automotive knowledge and friendly communication. Candidates should be able to navigate store systems, source parts, and work flexible hours including weekends; driving/navigation skills and safety knowledge

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product, inventory, and operational standards.
• Handle inventory activities including counts, stocking, and back stock.
