Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in-store and by phone, and help meet sales objectives.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. You will perform DIY services, maintain inventory standards, and assist with stock and back‑room operations while following safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Read safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs to locate and service parts.
• Use basic math for transactions and operate store systems accurately.
• Able to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• 1–3 years of sales in retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals; source parts from multiple channels.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain inventory processes: put away, cycle counts, back stock, and stocking.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed; ensure store cleanliness and operations.
