Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY segment and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores and suppliers.

Positions can be part-time or full-time, with emphasis on customer service and safe handling of parts. The role involves delivering parts to customers, performing basic battery and wiper services, and maintaining inventory accuracy

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Ability to speak and write English; Spanish a plus, and to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Familiarity with store operations and basic automotive knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its sales targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
