Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

Position can be part-time or full-time with opportunities to provide battery installations, testing, and wiper services while maintaining inventory and operating standards. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; clear communication with customers, peers and management
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, parts catalogs
• Use basic math for daily tasks and transactions
• Ability to work flexible days, evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
