Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, parts familiarity, and the ability to source parts from various channels.

You will manage inventory and operate store systems, with the position available as part time or full time. Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of sales experience in retail, good communication in English, and the flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive knowledge and parts knowledge.
• Ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers.
• Experience with inventory processes and store equipment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking duties.
