Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support our DIY business. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store systems familiarity, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

You will assist customers in-store and by phone, perform DIY services, and contribute to inventory and housekeeping tasks. This position can be part-time or full-time and may require weekend shifts. Strong communication, basic math, and a customer-first attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• English speaking and writing required; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs, and procedures.
• Basic math skills for pricing and transactions.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in a diverse retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes: truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Keep store clean; stock shelves and perform general stocking duties.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
