Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, strong customer service, and familiarity with store systems.

Position can be part time or full time. The employee will assist with DIY services, inventory management, and customer assistance both in-store and over the phone.

Qualifications

• Experience in a diverse retail environment preferred.
• Ability to source parts from multiple channels (stores, hubs, pdq, external suppliers).
• Experience handling inventory and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to store targets.
• Install/assist with basic DIY services like battery and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including cycle counts, back stock, and stocking.
