Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Universal City, Texas is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. This entry-level position requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive systems, and parts; sourcing from stores, hubs, and external suppliers is expected.

You will provide excellent customer service, perform DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements, and help maintain inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management.
• Ability to use basic math and operate in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and safe delivery of parts as needed.
