Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. This entry-level role requires knowledge of store systems, inventory, and basic automotive parts.

It can be part-time or full-time, with responsibilities including customer engagement and DIY service delivery. Responsibilities include inventory accuracy, using POS and parts lookup systems, and delivering friendly, safe customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, delivering superior customer experiences.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• Basic automotive parts knowledge and basic store systems familiarity.
• Ability to use delivery board system and navigate inventory processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Hit personal sales goals and support store sales targets.
• Deliver DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain product and operational standards; assist with inventory processes.
