Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to welcome DIY customers, provide product guidance, and assist with on-site services such as battery installations and wiper replacements. The role supports inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction in a busy retail setting.

The position requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and a flexible schedule including weekends. Prior retail sales experience and a customer-first mindset are preferred to drive store

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of store systems and automotive parts.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness, stocking, and safely delivering parts to customers as needed.
