Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and drive sales/service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with responsibilities spanning customer engagement, DIY service delivery, inventory management, and maintaining store standards. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Willingness to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Basic automotive knowledge and ability to source parts from various channels.
• Fleet safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal and store sales goals.
• Perform DIY services like battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Oversee inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Assist with store cleanliness and stocking as needed.
