Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and part sourcing from multiple channels. You will handle battery installations, wiper changes, and other DIY services, while maintaining inventory and store standards.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with emphasis on customer service, safety, and teamwork across the store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and support store targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Keep store clean: floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Stock general inventory including truck stock and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers when needed.
