Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales/service objectives. You will work with store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and part knowledge to assist customers in-store and by phone.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic automotive system knowledge and part knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal sales goals and contribute to store targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain inventory and store operational standards.
• Handle stocking, cycle counts, back stock, and shipping/receiving as needed.
