Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve our sales and service objectives.

The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. The position includes inventory maintenance and basic customer service, with opportunities to provide services like battery installation and wiper replacements, while maintaining store standards and a safe work

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• English speaking; Spanish a plus.
• Basic automotive system and parts knowledge.
• Safe handling of parts and tools in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Hit personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Offer DIY services such as battery tests and wiper installations.
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
