Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service goals. You will assist DIY customers in-store and by phone, perform basic vehicle-related services, and help source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to use basic math for transactions.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in a retail environment.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Basic knowledge of store systems and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet sales targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery installs, tests, wiper installs) and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain store product and operational standards; assist with inventory tasks.
