Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business, meet sales and service goals, and provide battery, wiper, and other DIY services. You will manage inventory processes and operate store systems while delivering excellent customer experiences.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, clear English communication, and availability on days, evenings, and weekends. Prior retail sales experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic driving and navigation ability.
• Knowledge of DIY services and automotive parts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking; deliver parts to customers as needed.
