Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales targets. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store and inventory systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and suppliers. Availability for various shifts is needed.

You will help customers with parts lookups, drive sales, and participate in safety and service tasks while maintaining store presentation and operations.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions and parts lookup.
• Basic automotive system and parts knowledge.
• Familiarity with store systems and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals; assist with DIY services like battery/wiper installations.
• Maintain store standards and inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers when needed and assist with ordering from suppliers.
