Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales targets. You will use store systems, possess basic automotive knowledge, and source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The role may be part time or full time and involves inventory and maintenance duties. Responsibilities include delivering excellent DIY customer service, performing battery tests/installations, and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); able to communicate and build relationships with customers, peers and management.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in store and via phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and support store sales objectives.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.).
• Maintain store product and operational standards including inventory processes.
• Assist with stocking, truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
