Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is looking for an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales objectives.

The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers. The position can be part-time or full-time, with duties including battery installations, wiper installations, inventory management, and delivering parts to customers.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Speak and write English; communicate effectively and build relationships with customers, peers and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its overall targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards; inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
