Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. This role has strong knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and sourcing from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic math and numeric literacy for sales transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
