Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

It can be part-time or full-time, with a focus on accuracy and safety. You will provide DIY services, assist customers in-store and by phone, and maintain inventory and standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales experience in a diverse retail environment
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock
