Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and parts sourcing from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

The position can be part-time or full-time. The role involves delivering aftermarket parts and providing DIY services in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedures.
• Use basic math accurately; work with inventory and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and over the phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installation.
• Maintain store product and operational standards; assist with inventory processes.
• Stock shelves, perform cycle counts, manage back stock, and ensure store cleanliness.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
