Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role uses store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and sourcing from stores, hubs, PDQ, and suppliers, with a focus on inventory maintenance.

The position can be part-time or full-time. Primary duties include helping customers, delivering parts, and performing DIY services like battery installations and wiper changes, while maintaining safety and accuracy

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic automotive parts knowledge.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers, including phone interactions.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet overall targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installations and wiper installs.
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Keep store clean and stocked; support general stocking and back-stock activities.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
