Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is hiring an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business. You will assist customers, perform basic automotive tasks, and use store systems to source parts from multiple sources.

The role can be part-time or full-time, emphasizing inventory accuracy and safe driving while driving sales. The position also involves delivering parts as needed, maintaining cleanliness and stock, and building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs and procedures.
• Use basic math with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to work varied days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales goals.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts and back stock.
• Ensure store cleanliness and general stocking.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
