Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in High Point, NC is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY customer, assist with parts lookup, and help the store meet sales and service objectives both in-store and via phone.

You will perform battery installations, testing, wiper installs, and basic diagnostics, source inventory from stores and hubs, and maintain inventory processes and store cleanliness. This entry-level role requires good automotive knowledge, basic math, and strong English communication;

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and communicate effectively with customers and team.
• Ability to use basic math for transactions and inventory counts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
