Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Dunn, NC is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and suppliers.

Position can be part-time or full-time with fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales goals, performing DIY services such as battery installation

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Perform basic math for transactions and measurements.
• Able to work varied days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Store cleanliness and stocking responsibilities.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
