Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and hit our sales and service objectives.

The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers. You will provide excellent service to DIY customers in person and by phone, perform DIY services like battery installations and wiper replacements, and maintain inventory and store operations.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read safety rules and manuals.
• Use basic math for everyday transactions.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
