Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Dobson, NC is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business. This entry‑level role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and sourcing from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

You will provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customers, work toward personal and store sales goals, and perform services such as battery installs and wiper replacements.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to speak and write English clearly.
• Basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and sourcing from multiple channels.
• Friendly communication and ability to build relationships with customers and teammates.
• Fleet safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including stocking and counts.
