Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive part knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and strong customer service skills.

You will assist with battery installations, battery testing, wiper installations, and parts lookup, while maintaining inventory and store standards. Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to use delivery board system and store equipment.
• Basic math skills and ability to read safety and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and testing; wiper installs.
• Maintain store inventory and operating standards; handle stock and cycle counts.
