Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert knowledge of store systems, parts, and services such as battery installs and testing.

The role is full time and requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, with ASE certification preferred and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work in a dynamic store environment, including days/evenings/weekends, with opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability in parts or DIY context.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate store inventory and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers and calls.
• Meet sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain store appearance and customer service standards.
• Perform key holder duties (opening/closing, safety, task assignment).
