Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions with expert knowledge of store systems and parts. The role includes selling, service objectives, and battery/wiper service capabilities. 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and a valid driver's license are required, ASE certification preferred.

The position is full-time, with responsibilities expanding from inventory to customer-facing repair support and parts sourcing.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Valid driver's license required
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• Proven sales ability in fulfillment of customer transactions

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, open/close duties
• Assist in store inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock)
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs
