Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Parts Pro in the United States to support advanced DIY functions. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, parts knowledge, and automotive diagnostics to assist customers in person and by phone.

Responsibilities include achieving sales goals, maintaining store appearance, and handling key holder duties. Prior experience in automotive parts and valid driver’s license are essential; ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Know automotive parts and systems to assist customers and fulfill orders.
• Proven sales track record with a focus on customer service and achieving goals.
• Familiarity with parts lookup and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
