Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and DIY services, with emphasis on selling and customer assistance. Prior parts experience and ASE readiness are valued.

Responsibilities include driving sales, performing DIY services, and upholding safety and appearance standards across shifts. ASE certification is preferred; valid driver’s license is required. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with customer transactions.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock).
• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, etc.).
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs).
