Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY customer needs with expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts. The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, accurate parts identification, and efficient use of inventory tools.

You will perform battery testing, wiper installations, and other DIY services while achieving sales targets and maintaining store standards. Availability on varied shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• Ability to locate and stock parts quickly and accurately.
• Must read safety rules and operate store equipment safely.
• Valid driver’s license required; ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers in-store and via phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services such as battery testing and wiper installations.
• Maintain store appearance and safety standards; execute opening/closing duties.
• Assist in inventory, cycle counts, and back stock management.
