Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to join our team. This full-time, in-store role combines expert parts knowledge with customer service, helping DIY customers with parts, installations, and testing.

You will operate store systems, assist with inventory, and uphold safety and appearance standards. Qualifications include 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, ASE certification preferred, and a valid driver’s license. English communication is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to operate store systems and perform basic diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and testing.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Handle key holder duties including opening/closing tasks.
• Assist inventory processes and keep back-stock organized.
