Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions, diagnose parts, and provide exceptional customer service. The role requires strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts lookup, and inventory processes, with 3–5 years of parts experience and ASE certification preferred.

Valid driver’s license required; full-time position. The candidate will handle sales, assist with in-store services such as battery testing and installation, and uphold store standards

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred, but not required
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and maintenance instructions
• Familiarity with store inventory systems and POS

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
