Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States to provide expert knowledge of store systems, advanced automotive parts knowledge, and exceptional customer service for DIY customers.

The role includes selling, service objectives, and handling DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements. Candidate should have 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong communication skills, and proficiency with parts lookup and inventory tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience
• Must have valid driver’s license
• ASE certification preferred, but not required
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide DIY selling experience for in-store and phone inquiries
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (opening/closing duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock
• Maintain store cleanliness and organized presentation
• Provide accurate parts lookup and sourcing for DIY customers
